Have you ever
thought of publishing your ‘Biggar’ poems as a pamphlet? Well, naw: I
huvnae. I widnae ken hoo tae gang aboot it.
I suppose I cud fund oot, but I’m loath tae publish ony o my poems. Publication
ay seems sae final and permanent, whiles my poems are ay ‘works in progress’.
I want tae be able tae keep tinkerin wi them; but aince they’re oot there in print… well, that’s
that… innit? The gemm’s a bogey.
So, this is
a compromise. I’ve published them oan the web. That wey, folk can get tae read them and I can continue to fiddle aboot wi them. Best o baith warlds.
